April 25th, Xie Fuzhan, Henan provincial governor, met with Mr.FrancoisBausch, the minister of Sustainable Development and InfrastructureIndustry of Luxembourg, in Zhengzhou,Zhao Jiancai, Vice-governor, and Zhang Mingchao, chairman of HNCA, were present at the meeting.

First of all, Xie Fuzhan, on behalf of Henan provincial party committee and provincial government, welcomed Mr. Francois Bausch and expressed his gratitude for prime minister’s warm greetings and good wishes in the successful cooperation between HNCA and Cargolux and thanked the government of Luxembourg for its cooperation and support.

Xie Fuzhan said, since last year to start the cooperation, the substantial progress and gratifying results had been made in bilateral cooperationunderboth sides’ efforts. Henan economic development maintained a sound momentum,Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport saw a continuous rapid growthof its cargo capacity and Henan province had the confidence to fully exploit the comprehensive advantages to build Zhengzhou as an important China-Europe cargo hub.HehopedCargolux to accelerate the business layout and open direct scheduled flight to Zhengzhou as soon as possible, to promote bilateral cooperation and development fasterand bear the rich fruit.

Francois Bausch expressed his gratitude for the invitations to visit Henan twice in this year and congratulations on completion of equity acquisition between HNCA and Cargolux. It is considered to be a model of cooperation between Chinese enterprises and Luxembourg ones, to be one of the important events of friendly cooperation and start a new chapter of cooperation and communication on both sides. He was willing to promote Zhengzhou - Luxembourg in-depth implementation of the "dual- hub" strategy and the aviation logistics industry cooperation and jointly build Zhengzhou into a logistics center in China, even the world.
